The CAPTAIN® architecture is an innovative electrical grid composed of :
- A main multi-conductor electrical bus which distributes electric power from sources to loads through primary and secondary distribution boxes.
- Primary and secondary cores allows smart energy control, protection and distribution.
Our numerical simulations have shown a reduction of between 50 and 80% in conductor mass compared to traditional architecture.
The CAPTAIN® grid remains operational after a failure of a load, source or wire on the main network. It is therefore more reliable than the current grids.
Very high speed communications can be achieved throughout the main network using all the conductors.
Primary and secondary core allow programming and configuring the network as well as monitoring electricity consumption.
